Waterlooville HC Wellbeing Garden

Love Outdoors CIC is working with NHS Property Services, Strawberry Health PCN, Havant Borough Council and partners to create a community garden in the grounds of Waterlooville Health Centre.

We are keen to find out what you would like to see in the garden, how you would like to use the space and how you might like to get involved.

From November 2025-January 2026 we gathered feedback from the community, staff and patients to help inform how the space is designed. We have popped up at GP surgeries, community venues and groups across the area to get the communities views, and you can still get them to us by completing the form below by the 31 January 2026.

Initial design ideas were created in January 2026 and the community was able to provide additional feedback at a community fun day on Saturday 17 January. Taking in to consideration all the feedback from this event, feedback forms and meetings with the community and staff, and taking landscape considerations in to account, a final design is now being worked on which will then be submitted for the relevant approvals, so that works can progress.

It is hoped that in Spring 2026 the garden will begin to be built, with hard landscaping undertaken by a contractor.

Following this we would like to get as many local people involved through the establishment of a volunteer workgroup to carry out soft landscaping, alongside wellbeing sessions.

So, please tell us what you would like from the community garden space and how you would like to get involved by completing the form below (open until the 31 January).
